We Love Finland is an independent media celebrating Finnish nature, places and people. We tell stories worth sharing, and we help good local businesses reach a community that cares, without ever pretending an ad is anything but what it is.

Trust is the whole business. So here's exactly how it works, in plain language.

Independent picks are never for sale

When we call something an independent pick, no money changed hands. We chose it because it's good, full stop.

Promoted partners are always labelled

If a business has paid to be featured, it carries a 'promoted partner' badge, every time, everywhere.

Partners still have to earn it

We only take on partners that fit our editorial standard. If it's not genuinely good, no budget will buy a feature.

We tell it like it is

Partner or not, we describe places honestly. Our community can tell when we're faking it, so we don't.

The face behind it

Who's writing this.

It started with a French person falling for Finland: the light, the silence, the saunas, the stubborn honesty of the place. That outsider's wonder is still the lens: noticing the things locals stopped seeing, and saying them out loud.

We Love Finland is a small, hands-on team: the same people who shoot the photos, write the captions and reply to your emails.
