About

An honest love letter to Finland.

It started with a French person falling for Finland: the light, the silence, the saunas, the stubborn sincerity of the place. That outsider's wonder is still the lens: noticing the things locals stopped seeing, and saying them out loud.

We Love Finland is a one-person, hands-on project: I shoot the videos, at our studio in Tampere or out on location, write the captions and reply to your emails myself.

The approach

True stories, clearly labelled.

We Love Finland is an independent media about Finland: its nature, its places and its people. We feature businesses and places worth seeing across the whole country, in English and Finnish, for an audience that came to discover: where to go, what to eat, where to stay. And we never pretend an ad is anything but what it is.

Transparency

The rules we film by.

Trust is the whole business. Here's exactly how it works, in plain language.

  1. Paid partnerships are always disclosed

If a business has paid to be featured, we say so, every time, everywhere.

  2. Partners still have to earn it

We only take on partners that fit our editorial standard. If it's not genuinely good, no budget will buy a feature.

  3. We tell it like it is

Partner or not, a place gets described as it deserves, good and less good. That candour is why the audience keeps watching.

On using AI

How I use AI.

A quick note: I'm not a native English or Finnish speaker, so I use AI to tidy up my spelling and phrasing and for a first pass on translations. I read everything after — a typo can still slip through, so tell me if you spot one.

The photos and videos are all mine, shot on the ground. Nothing here is AI-generated.
